We're property hunters — your international buyer's agent. There's a difference. An agency works inventory. We work for the buyer — one client at a time, across the destinations I know inside out.

Alex, our founder, is Belgian. She knows what it means to navigate a foreign real estate market with no local network, no trusted advisor, and no one to tell you the truth about what a property is actually worth.

That's why we built Private Villa Hunters. Over years, we've assembled the network across Portugal, Spain, Morocco and Mauritius — developers, notaries, private sellers, tax specialists — that lets us access both on-market and off-market properties, and negotiate at local rates for international buyers.

A traditional agent represents the seller. We work exclusively for you, the buyer. We search across all agents and off-market listings, pre-filter properties to your brief, and negotiate on your side — with no conflict of interest.
Through years of relationships with local developers, notaries, and private sellers in each of the four destinations. Off-market properties — never listed publicly — often represent the best value and the most exclusive addresses. This network is what you're paying me to access.
Our property search is completely free for the buyer. We're compensated by a commission paid by the seller — you pay nothing extra on top of the purchase price.
Yes. We coordinate with vetted local lawyers, notaries and tax advisors in each destination. I guide you through tax IDs, local bank accounts, residency applications, and every step of legal due diligence — so nothing is left to chance.
Typically 4 to 8 weeks from initial brief to signed promissory contract. The final deed follows 60 to 90 days later, depending on the country. Total: 3 to 6 months from start to keys in hand, depending on financing and legal complexity.
